THE HOUSE

Our three bedroom vacation home is located on the shores of Leech Lake’s Walker Bay, two miles north of Walker. The house is situated only 40 feet from the lake, so you will get the opportunity to hear the waves lapping against the shore and loons at night. The home has three bedrooms, an open floor layout with two living rooms, (each with a great view of Walker Bay), a full bathroom, a stone gas fireplace, a fully equiped kitchen with a bar/counter, dining area, DISH TV, and wifi. The large lakeside deck is big enough for your whole crew.

From the deck the lake stairs take you down to the dock that is equiped with mooring whips and power outlets/lighting on the shore. The lakeshore has a sandy hard bottom that is great for swimming and recreating. Adjacent to the back of the property is the Paul Bunyan Trail that is great for walking, running, and biking. The home is located two miles by trail or road to Walker. We do allow pets with prior approval.

The lakeside master bedroom has a king bed, the middle bedroom has two single beds, and the back bedroom also has a king bed. Each bedroom has a room air conditioner and a ceiling fan. The backyard has a large parking area for your vehicles and trailers. The home is equiped with a gas grill for your burgers, brats, and steaks.
